A trip to Paris with Elizabeth and Jonathan

Elizabeth and Jonathan from America came to London for a visit and had to go on the "train under the ocean" so we went to Paris for a weekend.  We stayed at the Hôtel du Jeu de Paume, which is on the Ile St Louis, right in the heart of the city.  It was glorious weather.

Our first stop was the Cathédrale de Notre Dame on the Ile de la Cité, just next door to the Ile St Louis.

Then we took the RER train, which - to Jonathan's delight because he hadn't seen one before - was a double-decker train, to the Tour Eiffel.  The sun was beginning to set as we arrived.

On the Sunday we paid a quick visit to Paris residents, Nathalie, Dominique, Lucie and Adèle.
This meant we were able to take the proper Paris Metro - yet another train experience for Jonathan.
Lucie and Jonathan are about the same age.
Lucie instructed Jonathan on how to play the guitar while she played the violin.

While Maman holds the music, Lucie shows Jonathan which string to pluck Rehearsal over - let's play !
