The Hotel in St Nectaire was a Mercure Relais. It was in a converted spa building, which had a beautiful dining room as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. These photographs were taken over the three days we were there.
|On the first evening it rained briefly, causing a lovely hazy effect as we looked out of our bedroom window.||Here is the view in a morning, when it was a little sunnier.|
|We went for a walk on the hill against which the hotel nestles and found an overgrown path, from which there were good views of the hotel.|
The tall section on the left is the dining room and our room was just behind the tree on the right, just past where the set-back section.
There was a beautiful bed of flowers
overlooking the pool.
