The Hotel Mercure Relais Les Bains Romains

The Hotel in St Nectaire was a Mercure Relais.  It was in a converted spa building, which had a beautiful dining room as well as an indoor and outdoor pool.  These photographs were taken over the three days we were there.

On the first evening it rained briefly, causing a lovely hazy effect as we looked out of our bedroom window. View from our room through evening rain Here is the view in a morning, when it was a little sunnier. View from our room in morning sun
The path on the hillside We went for a walk on the hill against which the hotel nestles and found an overgrown path, from which there were good views of the hotel.

The tall section on the left is the dining room and our room was just behind the tree on the right, just past where the set-back section.

The pool and, beyond it, the bar and dining room The main building

There was a beautiful bed of flowers overlooking the pool.
